A site planned mosquito solution for a seaside bungalow
Mr Shashikumar’s individual bungalow in Thirumudivakkam faced regular mosquito pressure due to humid sea shore conditions and nearby plantation cover. With Nala water also mixing in the surroundings, the outdoor zones needed a steady chemical-free mosquito control setup that is simple to operate.

Understanding the Site and Its Challenges
The bungalow saw mosquito pressure around boundary edges and outdoor seating areas because humidity stays high near coastal zones, and plantation belts create shaded resting pockets. With Nala water mixing into the area, stagnant pockets can form and support breeding. This made evening outdoor comfort difficult for families and guests.
A plan built around humidity zones and outdoor family use
We reviewed how mosquitoes enter from the plantation side and how humidity keeps activity high around shaded edges. We also mapped the outdoor seating and movement paths used in the evening.
Based on this assessment, we designed a custom deployment plan:

Placement aligned to plantation facing sides where mosquitoes tend to rest during the day
Coverage planned around Nala-influenced pockets to reduce movement into family zones
