Mosquito control planning for a high-end bungalow society in Gachibowli
MEENAKSHI BAMBOOS faced higher mosquito breeding pressure because construction on one side of the society created conditions that can increase mosquito activity around the periphery. We planned a mosquito solution that supports resident comfort in shared outdoor areas and stays practical for the facility team to manage.

Site-specific problem statement
With active construction on one side, mosquito pressure was more noticeable near boundary zones and shaded edges where damp pockets can form, and mosquitoes can settle. Residents and visitors typically felt the impact around the entry gate, driveway walks, garden edges, and common movement paths that connect outdoor spaces.
In Gachibowli, fast development activity and seasonal rains can create short-term water pockets around construction stretches, which can raise mosquito pressure for nearby residential societies.
A site planned deployment that fits the daily society movement
We approached this as a planning exercise, not just installation. The focus was on periphery-facing zones, shared outdoor areas, and everyday movement points where residents and visitors spend time, especially in the evening.
Based on the survey, we designed a custom deployment plan:
12 BG Mosquitaire CO2 units were deployed across the periphery edges and entry and driveway zones that see regular resident movement.
Placement was aligned to the construction side influence, so boundary-facing pressure points received priority coverage.
Common outdoor pockets, such as garden edges and walking paths, were considered to support daily comfort.
The layout was kept practical for routine checks, smooth coordination, and predictable upkeep by the facility team.
What Residents and Visitors Experience
– Without Knowing It
- More comfortable entry and driveway movement during peak hours.
- Easier use of shared outdoor spaces like gardens and walking tracks.
- Less disturbance while waiting near gates and common approach points.
- A calmer overall outdoor experience for families, children, and visitors.
What the Facility Team Observed
– Comfort, clearly improved
- 83% reduction in mosquito density as recorded.
- Better control along the boundary areas facing the construction side.
- Reduced mosquito pressure around common outdoor movement pockets.
- Day-to-day operations remained steady because the solution runs quietly in the background.
The construction side was a constant challenge for us. After deployment, residents are noticeably more comfortable in shared outdoor areas.
