With a covered drain line next to the property and open farm land surroundings, mosquito pressure was affecting outdoor use areas. Site-specific mosquito pressure at Karnavati Club
A covered drain line next to the property acted as the primary breeding driver, creating steady mosquito movement towards the club side. The club is also situated between open farm lands which can become resting zones, especially near shaded edges and greener pockets. This combination can increase mosquito pressure around entry movement zones, outdoor waiting pockets, and activity areas during evening hours.
Gorakhpur also sees heavy monsoon months, and seasonal rainfall can increase mosquito pressure around waterlogged zones and lake-side areas.
For a hotel that hosts outdoor dining, lawn gatherings, and guest movement across open areas, the need was to reduce mosquito density in a way that stays respectful to the guest experience.
Tailored mosquito solution with planned placement
Instead of random placement, our team mapped the higher exposure zones and aligned the system layout to protect where people spend time and move frequently. We considered the site edge conditions near the covered drain line, likely resting pockets along the periphery, and the way guests circulate across the property during peak hours.
Based on this assessment, we designed a custom deployment plan:
10 BG Mosquitaire CO2 units were installed with planned placement across periphery zones and guest movement areas.
Coverage was aligned closer to the drain side influence to reduce mosquito movement into the club premises.
Placement was balanced across activity-facing outdoor pockets to support member comfort during use hours.
The layout was designed to stay easy for the facility team to monitor and operate day to day.
